Tim Eads of Tuft the World literally wrote the book on contemporary rug tufting, and now’s your chance to hang out with him in person, fire up a power tufting machine, and create something totally wild. This exclusive Santa Fe workshop is all about going big, getting bold, and diving headfirst into the world of tufting—whether you’re a total newbie or an experienced artist looking to shake things up.

We’ll start with the basics—how to wield a tufting gun like a pro, work with lush wool yarn, and build a killer composition. But we won’t stop there. We’re going deep into carving, finishing, and creative ways to get your work off the floor and onto walls (or anywhere else your imagination takes you). Oh, and we’re paying tribute to the powerhouse women who laid the foundation for this craft.

Tufting is more than just making rugs—it’s a full-blown art form, and this workshop is your playground. Want to mix it into your existing practice? Go for it. Just want to make something absolutely unhinged and amazing? Even better. And because we love a good dose of visual chaos, we’re taking a field trip to Meow Wolf Santa Fe, an insane immersive art experience, for an explosion of color, texture, and inspiration to fuel your tufting fever dreams.

Please note our cancellation policy: After registration and payment, students have 48 hours to cancel with a 15% admin fee deducted from their refund. After the 48 Hr cancellation period and up until 3 weeks before the workshop begins a refund will be given (-a 15% admin fee) only if the spot can be filled by another student through Muses Santa Fe.
