Sedona makes the process approachable by demystifying warping, avoiding common pitfalls, and giving you the tools to create a project you’ll be proud to show off. You’ll explore color selection, design your own piece, and learn how to set up your rigid heddle loom with ease. By the end of the class, you’ll leave with not only a great piece but also new weaving friends!

Here’s what we’ll cover:

• Rigid heddle loom basics: terminology and mechanics.

• Direct warping: learn how to set up your loom like a pro.

• Clasped weaving technique: add dimension and variety to your designs.

• Finishing techniques: hemstitching, mounting, and making your piece shine.

• Yarn planning: calculate materials for future projects.

We provide high-quality materials, looms to use for the day, and advice for selecting tools for your future weaving practice.   • Tuition $260.00 **For this workshop Muses is accepting deposits of 50% with the remaining balance due after 30 days of initial deposit. All accounts must be paid in full by Jan 1, 2025. Please select 50% Deposit to reserve your spot in class. We regret that deposits are not refundable.
